Room is clean, It has a working heater/air conditioner. You can set the temperature you need. It has nice comfortable bed and comforter. We used a taxi to get to the hotel. It cost 20 pounds from Terminal 5 , and it takes about 20 min. On the way back we used PODS- 8 pounds per person. It wakes less then 10 min to get to terminal 5. Breakfast: Very good. They had sunny side up and scrambled eggs, beans. sausage, milk, juices, coffee, pastries, several types of cereal and yogurt,

- Would certainly recommend staying here if you have a flight to catch the next day. There is a Premier Inn across the road as well which I think is slightly better quality (I'd stayed there once before), but I would simply choose the one with the better price. - The room was nice enough, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable. - The rooms had a number of good accessories such as iron board, kettle, complementary water etc. - The staff were very friendly. - The location is great. The bus stops right outside the hotel, comes every 20 minutes and it's 2 stops to Heathrow (around 10 minutes).

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay before flying to New York the next day. It's located close to Heathrow Airport, Terminal 5 and I used a hotel driverless pod to travel to the airport which was fun and quick! I also liked the inclusive cooked buffet breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly, professional and made me feel welcome.

5min from the T5 with the Heathrow Pods. Even with the price of the pod you can save money if you book this hotel instead of the Sofitel.

Easy to get to Terminal 5 in the pod in the morning, meal was lovely which I had in the evening before we flew. Room was clean, bed comfortable and shower nice and hot.

Rooms are small but clean; big flatscreen TV with many channels. Beds are good. Breakfast is ok: very good food at the restaurant and the Sportsbar. Staff is helpful , kind and polite. Great place for plane spotters!

We had a room facing the runway on the first floor and were not disturbed by the take-off of planes. You could hear them but not to the point that they were a dominant noise. The Pod from Terminal 5 to the hotel was simple to use and very efficient. The cost of the room was very reasonable compared to some other hotels in the same area that were easily accessible.

The Thistle Hotel is 5-10 minutes from Terminal 5 by bus, and is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop, if that. The staff were polite and informative. The room was clean and served well for an overnight stay to catch an early flight the next morning. The price was very reasonable and made it a far better proposition than the other hotel located in Terminal 5 in my opinion. I will definitely stay here again if I need to catch another early flight.

The location is very ideal for the pods to & from T5. The room was spacious enough, good facilities & comfortable. Plenty available in the hotel with the shop & food etc.
